This Focus Report examines Print Management Schemes as a means of minimising paper waste generation as well as delivering savings in terms of reduced print consumables and energy consumption within Local Authorities. The report

• Identifies financial benefits;
• Identifies environmental benefits including potential tonnages diverted from landfill and waste minimisation potential; and
• Highlights key aspects of implementation linking with the other 8 success factors identified in previous reports.

The report illustrates these points in relation to the Print Management Scheme currently being implemented at Fife Council called Print08.
